Gregory F. Cromwell's practice focuses on the Homeowners' Association field. He has been representing both single family dwelling and condominium associations for over 28 years. He and his two (2) associate attorneys, Amy and Kim, and four (4) paralegals, Margret, Alison, Ashley and Brittany, effectively, efficiently and economically provide legal services to associations, which include but are not limited to assessments collection, interpretation and enforcement of covenants and other governing documents through both negotiation and litigation, the preparation of governing documents (Covenants, Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, and Rules and Regulations) and amendments to them, and assisting association Boards establish procedures and policies for more efficient and productive management of their associations. He firmly believes in the importance of active homeowners' associations, because they protect the marketability and value of owners' properties, and the quality of life for owners residing in the community. He also believes in an approach to problem solving which involves fair, consistent and courteous interaction with owners who are the subject of assessment and covenant issues with the association, while firmly protecting the association's interests.
Greg also does work in the other law areas mentioned:
Real Property: including review and consultation regarding financing and purchase and sale documents, the negotiation and preparation of purchase and sale agreements, and the negotiation and preparation of leases. Such work includes commercial and residential matters, and litigation regarding such transactions.
Business Structuring: including the structuring of existing and new businesses as corporations and limited liability companies.
Business Transactions: including the negotiation and drafting of agreements for the purchase and sale of businesses, and of other business transaction agreements, and litigation regarding such transactions.
Greg has extensive litigation experience, having handled a substantial number of trials, mediations, and arbitrations.
During law school, Greg was a legal intern in the office of Governor Dan Evans. During his years of practice he served as a judge pro tem for over twenty years for several District and Municipal Courts, gaining valuable insight into what is important to judges during hearings and trials. For fourteen years he was one of the founding directors and an officer of the National Bank of Tukwila, a community national bank which, through a series of bank mergers, eventually merged into Wells Fargo Bank. During that period he served on the bank's Executive Loan Committee, gaining excellent hands-on experience and insight into the loan and security documents utilized by banks, and bank financing standards and procedures.
Greg's free time is spent enjoying the companionship of his spouse of 40 years, Janice, golfing, and gardening.
